| Question: : I have a four month old puppy that will not eat her puppy meat. She eats my other dogs adult food instead. I have tried all ways but they always swap meals. She still eats her puppy biscuits so will this do her any harm or is it alright? Thanks. Your puppy really needs to be eating it's own food. Puppy food is formulated to meets the important nutritional needs that a puppy requires in order to maintain strong growing bones. I suggest feeding her separately from your other dogs. Put her in her crate with her own food or in another room so she will eat her own meal. By saying meat, I am assuming you have her on canned food? I would strongly recommend putting her on a dry kibble. Canned food is mostly water and a lot of waste. Canned food leads to all sorts of tartar build up on a dog's teeth. Dry kibble helps to keep tartar build up to a minimum and it is also much healthier for your dog. Regards, |
