| Question: The obedience class I'm attending is using choke chain though I've tried not to "tug" my 3-yr-old spayed JRT as much as possbile which results "our team work" on heeling not as perfect as others (handlers & their dogs). Nevertheless, I'm happy with the results both of us have achieved so far (with less tugging of course). I used treats to reinforce good/acceptable behaviour and always hold a treat in my left hand to entice her to heel close to me. I know you gays/gals advocate clicker training and would be glad if you could briefly explain how it works. Thanks.
