brushes

I could not find anything in the gtg search, so I thought I would ask. I have three short haird Jacks and I can not find a good brush for them. The brush with the small wire brissels (sorry about spelling) seems to hurt them, and the one with soft brissels dosen't do much for hair removel. I have herd the rubber ones are good, but wasen't sure if they are good with short hair. I wasen't sure how good rubber brissels really would work. If you have any ideas, I would appriciate them, my green couches are turning white as we speek. It is amazing how much these little guys shed, ha ha. Thanks for your advise.
