Question:

I just adopted a wonderful 2-year old female. She weighs 12.5 lb and needs a couple more (I can see her ribs). How much and how often should I give her food?
Also, with my previous dog I used to give him vegetables used in making chicken soup (boiled carrots, celery, onion..) is this a good idea once a week for a JRT as well?
