Squirrels are driving my JRT mad!!

Question:

I live in a woody area with a million squirrels roaming around. I just adopted a 2-year old female JRT and I am really afraid she might hurt herself physically by jumping up and down, left and right, every time she sees/senses one.
Is there a way to keep those pests away?
