Question:
I have read all there is to read about housevbreaking, but I am losing this battle...
I adopted a 2-year old female who was supposedly housebroken.
The first day there were no accidents, but for the past 4 days she constantly poops in the house.
I take her out frequently, praise her when she goes potty, give her encouragement, but once we are back in the house she poops.. :(
One thing I noticed, the poop outside is moist, foul smelling, the one I find in the house is very dark brown and dry (smells, but not as bad). I survey the house 100 times a day, so there is NO CHANCE I missed it and it became dry.
Please help me...I am going crazy...I even had a thought that my carpet started pooping, not the dog :)
