: I have read all there is to read about housevbreaking, but I am losing this battle...
Have you only had her for less than a week? If so, you'll need to give it more time. Also, if she's pooping that often, a change in food might be needed. Feeding a high quality food will reduce the amount of waste significantly. Are you free feeding her? Feed her on a schedule. A dog that eats on a schedule usually poops on a schedule. Feed her at the same time/times every day. If you can't trust her in the house, keep her where you can see her at all times. Put up a baby gate, put her on a leash, in an ex-pen or whatever it takes for you to be able to watch her every minute she's in the house. Good luck, Jane Colvin |
