Hi Christina,

You don't strip a smooth coat. There are certain brushes you can use on a smooth coated dog, but I never brushed my smooth. At times they are shedding more than usual I took him outside and just ran my hands all over him and watched the hair fly.

This breed sheds A LOT, especially smooths. There is no way to totally stop it.
