Re: Frequent Urination, crystals in urine

Question:

My 6 month old female has the same problem. I have had her on two different antibiotics and the prescription diet. She goes back to the vet next week to give a urine sample via cathiter . There is a specialist lab where the vet will send the "pure" sample and they will test it to see what is growing these crystals and what drugs will reduce them. Since then, I have found out that crystals in urine are quite common in pets of all sorts and even people!
There is a fair amount of info on the web, I did a search for "urine crystals" on Google.com
