: It appears that my dog has a problem with submissive urination. She is about 7 mos old and female. I know both her age and sex are factors for this behavior. The problem is, we read your suggestions and we've been trying them, but it doesnt seem to help. She appears to have more of a problem with this when my boyfriend calls her(she's very accustomed to him, though). She slinks around as if she has done something wrong.

Hi Emmie,

Yes, it's certainly possible that your little one could have a medical problem so please take her to the vet. In the meantime, continue with the suggestions and remember that changing a behavior takes time, consistency and patience. And plenty of love. :-)
