Adopting a JRTPosted by: Diane E. HardenCategory: Other Posted on: April 26, 2002 at 16:45:46

| Question: I am being given a JRT if I choose to take her. A family is leaving the area where I live and cannot take their 1 yr old with them. They would be giving me this dog with all of its possessions. This dog has gone through basic training. It was suggested that I continue with agility training at some point. She is a very sweet dog. She was raised with children and a cat. She has had all her shots, she has been spade, she has a "chip" implant, and she has been electric fence trained. After reading your profiler I got a little concerned. I am supposed to pick her up tomorrow morning. It seems as though most of the hard work has been done. I am going to take her to work with me everyday, so that she will be with me basically at all times. I work for a university so there won't be a lack of people around for her to play with. She loves people and will definitely keep me in shape. I can take her for walks on campus at lunch everyday. I live in a small place but I am near the beach and I can take her for walks everyday. Does this sound like a good match to you? Thanks,
