Dear Adam,

No, I have never heard of a breeder reimbursing (or refunding) for vet bills for allergies. Unless you have a signed contract providing for hereditary or congenital defects, your breeder is under no legal obligation to pay the vet bills.

Since your breeder has offered suggestions on how to deal with the allergies, he/she may be willing to offer financial help as well. You won't know until you ask... :-)
