: My 21 month old male JRT is having severe muscle cramps. They roam around his body from limb to limb in no particular pattern. None of his bloodwork shows viable reason. These are not seizures!! It seems more like growing pains. Has anyone out there experienced anything similiar??

Dear Mike,

Since your terrier's blood work does not show an obvious reason for the muscle cramps, I recommend that you ask your vet for a referral to a specialist. Muscle cramps/spasms are not normal at any age and thus require further diagnostics to find the cause. Your vet will direct to the appropriate specialist.
