Question:

: I am a student pilot, and I will soon be getting my license. I have seen stories of people bringing their dogs skydiving, and other things of the sort. I am wondering if there are any problems with bringing my dog with me when I go flying places in the future. I have one JRT that I know wouldn't sit through a flight, but I think the other one would. Perhaps there are physical problems with doing this?

: Please let me know, and thank you in advance for answering such a strange question.

: Mike

Hi Mike,

I don't see that there should be any problems in doing this with your terrier as long as you're not doing any stunt flying lol. I would just suggest that your dog isn't allowed to run around loose in the plane. You may want to get a harness and one of those gadgets that will clip them to the seat. I can imagine flying a plane takes a lot of concentration and having a bouncing JRT aboard might be a little distracting ;)

Happy Flying!
