Question:

: I read the forum on prick ears, but I still have a question, I bought a 8 weeks JRT. At first days his ears look very nice, but in last days is look like one ear is trying to “prick”, but right know I accept this prick level, only a small difference between one perfect ear and the other one. My question is: What time I need (age) to wait to see if the ears are going to stay in the position that are now? Or if with the following day will be more prick??
: Don´t worry I love my dog, but I pay a lot of money and Obviusly that I prefer a 100% JRT for all money that I pay for.

Response:

Hi Gustavo,

Your pup's ears may be whacky due to teething...however they may flop over and fly right. There are no guarantees with Jack Russells.

There's no such thing as a 100% JRT. Best thing to do is talk with the breeder, check out the the bloodlines and then decide if you want to buy a pup.

Best,
Judy
