Question:

: We have a Min Pin and now, a Jack Russel (gift).
: JR's name is Emmitt. Adorable, loving super dog, except, he gets out of the yard, but he comes when called. We can't sit in the yard all day and watch.
: Neighbors let their big pit bull run loose.
: How can we teach Emmitt the boundaries of the yard?
: Emmitt is a great dog, but we are afraid something will happen to him. Please help!
: Thank you
: Fran

Hi,
I use hotwire around the top of my fence to keep mine in, other than this I just don't know how you can teach them to stay in. That is something that I have tried to do for 18 years and gave up and ran hotwire. Afterall it is up to me to keep them safe and using hotwire has stopped the jumping the fence. Try using the Go to ground search for more information about hotwire.
Regards
Linda
