| Question: Hi - I've been looking to get a JRT for a short time and have just seen at our local SPCA there is a JRT that is 7 years old. I like the idea that she will be spayed and most likely housebroken, but was wondering what the average lifespan is. I would not want adopt and love a dog that had an average of one year to go.
