JRT peeing in it's sleep

Hi we've owned (are owned by is more like it) a JRT/ rat terrior mix for 6 months now. he is 11 months old and the best thing that ever happened to us.
My question is, on 2 occasions now our JRT has pee'd on our bed where he sleeps with us. Both times he was sleeping and immediatly woke up and sat by the door to go "pottie". neither time did he act like he even knew about peeing on the bed, and came straight back to lay down after going out. Could this be a medical problem, or is it just because of dreams.
He also runs and barks alot in his sleep, but i've seen that in many dogs and know that's normal. Any info would be appreciated.
