: I am nearing the end of my obiedience training with my little man (8 months). The trainer asked if my ears have been burning as she had been discussing my little chap with other trainers that she knows. She cannot believe what a stable,happy,obiedient and friendly JRT he was. She said that he is the best in his class (Mostly Labs)and her perception of JRT,s has changed since meeting him.

: I hope to take his obiedience classes to a higher level and was wondering from the forums experience how JRT's do in this field.

: Can I also say to any new JRT owners socialisation is a big big must. My boy has been with other dogs , children and adults daily since he was very young and this seems to have moulded him into a steady, loving dog.

A big Congrats from all of us here, YAHOO and YIPEE, it is great to hear when Obedience works for someone, and again congrats.

Jack Russells do very well in Obedience and many go to higher levels. I would say go for it.
