Question:

: My sweet Lucy will be spayed tomorrow. They will keep her over night, and I will pick her up the next morning. We will be home with her the whole day, until evening. We will be gone approximately 3- 4 hours. She will be in her crate, but do you think I need someone to look in on her due to the surgery?

Hi Lucy's Mommy,
I would say that she should be fine but you may want to ask your Vet when you pick her up what he/she thinks. Normally I have someone to come in and check on mine, if I am not going to be at home for a couple of hours just to be on the safe side.
We will keep her in our thoughts and prayers and know that she will be fine, so don't worry too much. I know that is easier said than done, because I am the biggest worry wart ever!
