Question:

Our JRT Tucker (2 1/2) was killed on June 17th and leaving his sister Lucy (2 yrs). I have a question about the grieving process. She has been non-active and has no interest in play with her other play mates. We have to force her to play with her toys. Yesterday, we had left her for 4 hours and when we came home, she has pooped in her crate. She has also had excessive drooling, to the point that it look like puddles. We took her out that morning and at lunch before we left her. She started the drooling on Monday and I took her to the vet, who gave her a clean bill of health. Is this behavor normal for a grieving animal. Note: She has never been without Tucker before. Should I get another JRT as a companion or should I give her more time? Has anyone had any similar symptoms? Thanks for your help.
