Dear Katie,

Drooping and itching are signs of ear discomfort; it could be caused by mites but it could also be caused by an infection, a foreign body lodged in the ear canal, etc.

Your vet is the only person who can determine the CAUSE of the problem; he/she is also the best person to show you how to safely and effectively administer the ear treatments.
