best leash control for jogging with jacks?

Question:

I have to male jacks that I run 2 miles a day with. I need more control with thier leashes. I have one on a choker but he still pulls me along. He pulls so hard that he throws up. If I use a regular collar, I have no control at all. I've seen full harnace type collars at Petco. Do they work or what do you suggest? Thanks Luie
