He will be eating or just walking across the floor and all of the sudden he looks to one side and then the other and runs under a chair. It's as if he sees something that we don't. This has gone on all day. He will lay down for two minutes and suddenly jump up and run to the other side of the room. Does this have anything to do with the surgery? Could he still have some effects from the anethesia? Should we take him back to the vet if it continues?

Hi Sandy,

My guess is the stitches are tightening up on the incision, thus causing a bit of unexpected tickling every now and then. I would call your vet, however, if he's still behaving this way on Monday.
