Hi Kristel,
I don't think it is a problem, and it really depends on the puppy.
I normally feeld my 16 week old and take her out right after feeding and then again in about an hour and she normally does both by then.

Each one is going to be different so if this is working for yours, don't worry about the time unless he used the bathroom in the house and then you will know to take him out sooner.
