Question:

: We have never owned a Jack Russell, but are interestedin one now. What are the behavior differences in male/female. Is one sex more
: family oriented than the other?

Response:

Hi Eva,
I haven't seen any difference or the way a certain sex reacts, but one thing you should remember that the Jack Russell isn't for every family or every person.

Please read the following FAQ's before buying this breed and also if you don't have a fenced yard, take a look at some of the behavior problems that we see on this board in posts that are in the Archives and Daily Digests. This isn't a breed that is content to sit on the couch all day long and is a very active breed, and only for people who are active. A couple of walks a day isn't enough to keep this breed happy, healthy and well maintained.
