: I have a 4 month old female JRT who adores the game of "Tug and Give", recently while playing 3 of her non-permanent teeth fell out, I was wondering if any of you recommend discontinuing this game until she is past the teething phase around 7-9 months of age to prevent any of the puppy teeth to fall out pre-mature. I was wondering if this could cause a delay in the development and pushing through of the permanent teeth? Thank you for your comments they are appreciated!

Hi Janelle,
None of recommend playing Tug of war ever!! it isn't a game that your terrier can win at and you are just setting him up for failure.It can also cause aggressiveness in dogs.
Sorry I don't know where that you read that we reccomended playing tug of war, but none of us recommend that at all.
