The neighbors hate it. They are not dog people. She's in the house with us at night and other times during the day, but if the two are out anytime and play--she barks.

Hi Tamara,
One thing to keep in mind that this is a breed that is breed to bark and this is one of the reasons that we say that this isn't a breed that is for people that have close neighbors.

What I am trying to say is there isn't much you can do and as far as I know barking during the day is going to be hard to control. Either put one out at a time or just let your neighbors get ear plugs.
You can't train a dog that is breed to bark, not to bark, and this is just something that the Jack Russell is breed to do.
