Question:

: Hi there! I would like to show my 1-year-old Chloe in conformation, and my breeder recommended showing her in working conformation, because her size, chest span, and corse coat are perfect 'working dog' type, even though her markings aren't perfect. But what's the difference? Don't you have to actively work your terrier or something to be in working classes? I never really understood that... Thanks!

Response:

Dear Amanda,

The JRTCA Sanctioned Trial Rule Book contains information for exhibitors regarding the conformation division as well GTG, Racing, Agility, etc. You can view/download the rules through this website at the "Trials" section. Copies of the Rule Book can also be obtained at sanctioned trials and/or from the club office.
