| Question: : I have an aunt who has given her 13 yr.old Golden a tsp. of tomato juice to prevent yellow "pee" grass / dead grass. Says it works like a charm and 13 yr. Golden has never been bothered by it. Anyone ever come across this?? I'd like to give it a whirl. Thanks for an invaluable forum!!
No disrespect to your aunt, but personally, I wouldn't try it. First, I've never seen tomatoes on the list of OK veggies to feed a dog. Second, our 9 year old terriers have never had so much as a sip of a V8 (!) and we do not have any yellow/dead "pee" grass. What say you, faithful readers? Has anyone ever heard of this particular treatment for "potty spots" in the yard? Leslie :-)
