Question:

: We have two JRT's. Our male, Mario is old enough to register so I am exploring what I need to do to register him. I was looking on the site and saw breed standard faults. They listed "dishing", "plaiting" and "toeing". I don't know what any of these things are. To tell the truth we are new to Jack Russell's. These are the first two JRT's we've had and we just don't know much about how to go about the whole registry procedure. Any advice or help anyone can offer will be truly appreciated. Also, meanings of the words I listed before will be appreciated. We love our little guys and would like to register them but even if we can't that'll be okay. They are too cute and ornery for words and they bring immeasurable joy to us every day. Any and all help or advice will be sincerely appreciated.

: Thanks,

Dear Kelly,

Please see our Registration FAQ; if you have any questions or need additional information regarding the procedure, please contact the JRTCA club office (links below.)

Dishing, plaiting and toeing refer to how a terrier moves. As I am not 100% sure of the difference between each type of movement, I will again suggest you contact the club office for the most accurate information.

Best,
Leslie
