Massive shedding

Question:

Hi! I have a 9mth old JRT. She began a massive shedding about a mth ago. it hasn't stop since. Apart from that, she started to have red spots on her body (near the privates then it moved to the nipples). She doesn't scratch it nor lick it. She's fed with dry food, no human food. Is that due to the food she has taken? Or that she is going to have a "hit". Was thinking of taking her to the vet. Please help.
