Dear David,

Since the piece of rawhide was small, he may pass it on his. You are going to need to monitor him for the next several days, especially his bowel movements. If he shows the slightest bit of abdominal discomfort, refuses food or has to strain to defecate, please get him to the vet as soon as possible.

Thankfully you were supervising his chew time -- keep up the good work!
