Dear Stephen,

I suggest that you wait until you get settled. Moving to a new environment can be pretty traumatic for a pet even when the move is only a few miles/hours away. In your case, we're talking half-way around the world...! I would also be concerned about the long flight as well as any quarantine issues.

Truly, I think waiting until you're "home" and settled in is best for both you and the terrier. Have a safe trip and please send photos of you and your New Zealand JRT to the website.
