Going in Crate

I have a 13 week old male who is doing exceptionally well with his potty training. I think this is likely due to the 2 and 4 year old females I have showing him the ropes. However, two days a week they are in their crates from 8-3. I have a neighbor come over at 11:30 and 1:00 to let them out. He has been peeing in his crate on these days. He has shown that he can hold it for 3-4 hours at night. Any ideas why he might be doing this? Both of my females love their crates and I hope he will too. Any suggesions would be helpful. Thanks.
