moving

My family is preparing to move to New Jersey from Arizona in a week and a half. We're having a hard time finding temporary housing that will allow pets (until we can close on and move into a new house), and I think it would be like torture to board our Jack Russell Terrier in a kennel where he would get very little room to run around and exercise. Is there a directory somewhere out there that lists long-term (6-8 weeks) care solutions?
