On behalf of the all the volunteers on this Forum, thank you for adopting these needy terriers. By "sexual advances" I am assuming you are referring to the male terrier "mounting" the female as if to mate with her. This behavior is a canine form of dominance and is used to establish the pack hierarchy. Since us humans are the head of the pack, we can intervene as needed. Consider "distracting" the male the next time he tries to mount the female by having him respond to your commands. Please use our search engine to read more about "humping."
