: My 8 month old male JRT is a bath freak. No-one is safe if they're in the tub taking a bath. This dog loves water. Can swim too. We have to put him outside when giving the kids baths & showers. He will walk right into the shower like an invited guest. Its quite alarming. Forget the laundry tub-he jumps right in looking for a bath. This tub is about 3 feet off the ground (looks ridiculous). Cant even run water anymore without him zooming in the room. I dont want to discourage him toward baths-but a little quiet during mine would be appreciated. Any advice?

Hi Chris,

It times like that when a crate starts looking better and better ;) The easiest thing to do is just crate your Olympic swimmer while any water activity is going on. Sure he will be unhappy, but if you put a nice chewy or toy in there with him, he'll get over it.

I find in my house, food trumps everything! BTW, thanks for the smile today, the visuals were excellent :)
