Agrssive twds dog in-house, biting w/intervention

5 yr old visiting female Jack attacks 7 yr old female Beagle who lives in house. Today I disciplined Jack by putting her on her back and tyring to hold mouth shut be she tried to bite me! She remained on her back with me over her and if I touched her she tried to bite me again. After settling down she's as sweet as ever.

How do I deal with her attackin the dog in the house and also her biting me when I correct her?

I have to keep her on lead in the house which is not practical.
