Question:

: My Jack is crated for three hours every day while I am at work. He has learned how to open his own crate from the inside by putting his paw out between the bars and sliding the latch over little by little. Is there any way to train him not to do this, or should i just look for a different style of crate?

Response:

Hi Heather,

They are smart little buggers aren't they? I don't know what type of crate you have him in but some simple snap hooks in the appropriate size (the kind that are like on the end of a leash) should keep your Houdini contained without having to buy a different crate. You can find these at any hardware store.

Regards,
Marie
