Dear Tracy,

There is no such thing as "too old" to obedience train; please enroll your terrier as soon as possible.

One of the many benefits of attending training classes is that you will actually SEE how physical and mental exercise affects your terrier's behavior. A tired terrier really doesn't have the energy to be destructive... :-)
