| Question: I have a 3 1/2 year old, male JRT who is an angel and very obedient. He has to work for all his treats, meals, privelges, etc. but recently, when I give him a command, such as lie down, he will lie down and roll over. Or, if I ask him to sit, he will sit and hold out his paw. I think i may have somehow ingrained this behavior in him when I was teaching him these two "tricks", and now, wish I hadn't. Is there any way to let him know that I just want him to sit or lie down and not do anything else? It is very cute, but when I'm going to give him a treat, I wish he didn't feel like he had to run through his entire repitoire. Thanks for any advice - your forum has been a great help to me - especially when Dedalus was a puppy!
