Other than the tails they have beautiful markings and seem to be very intelligent.

I suspect the reason you've not found any information on JRTs born without a tail or with a "bob tail" is because this is NOT normal for the breed. Since you are obviously aware of the standard for tail length and the reason behind it, I assume you will not repeat the breeding...
