| Question: : Thank you so much for both replies from the Forum moderator and the lady whose dog had a bad leg injury. : We have decided to try to save the leg. In 2 weeks the vet surgeon should have an idea whether the tissue repair is moving in the right direction or not. Jessie is only 2 and a half years old and she has a long life ahead of her. We would not put her through any painful and long recovery if there was no good chance of saving the leg. I would love her no matter what, but I do not want the money (it will be very costly, but worth it) to be the deciding factor whether she will be a beautiful 3-legged or 4-legged JRT. Money can always be earned, right? And an amputated leg cannot be reattached. : Thanks for the support!
That is great news! We will all be pulling for you and Jessie and that your girl makes a complete recovery. Please keep us updated on her progress. Sincerely, |
