| Question: : My puppy is almost 5 month old,and he is missing his teeth, and it doesnt seem that other new teeth are going to grow...When there is a change of a teeth and how? Thank you
Puppies lose their baby teeth between the ages of 4-6 months. The first ones to go are the incisors, followed by the canines and premolars. Last to go are the molars. There is usually evidence of a permanent tooth in the form of a nub when the baby tooth falls out. Please take your terrier to a vet for examination if the permanent teeth fail to appear. Best, |
