Question:

: Our two 7 mo. old Jacks have pretty much mastered the art of poddy training except for when we go to bed. We sleep 11:00p to 7:00a and take them out right before we go to bed and right when we wake up, but they still have accidents during the night. We have taught them to nudge a bell we hang on the door knob when they have to go out during the day but once the lights are out they forget everything and our carpet pays the price. We have thought about maybe using puppy pads at night, but I don't want to teach them that urinating in the house is ok. We have also considered putting up their water a couple hours before bedtime, but I worry that it's not healthy and a little mean. Any sugestions?

Response:

Hi Kendra,

Pull their water up a few hours before bedtime, unless they are engaged in wild horseplay before bedtime, they should be hydrated enough. See if this helps.

Regards,
Marie
