Question:

: I have a almost 2yr old JR named Jersey.I also have a 5 year old Pit Bull terrier. The two get along great. Actually the JR is more aggressive believe it or not. Both ARE males. Anyways, my JR keeps urinating in various areas of the home.He goes outside no problem he does not do #2 in the house. Is this just him marking his territory? How do I stop it its driving me insane! He usually does it it the same areas, if I block him from that area he will just find a new one. HELP!!!!!!!!

Response:

Hi Deborah,

This sounds exactly like marking. I suggest you have your terrier neutered ASAP. Once his male hormones dissipate, it should help to lessen marking behavior.

Check out the post I answered yesterday on the same subject:

This will give you some more information.
