: My female JRT is doing well with her toilet training at three months of age, however whenever she is on carpet she pees. I was just wondering what is the best way to stop this behaviour.

Danielle, this is really pretty simple, if you think about it. Don't allow her to be on any carpet in your house. Stick to a tight schedule of feeding and going outside to "perform". A 12 week old is still very young, and won't be reliable for some time. She shouldn't have the run of the place. Good luck. C.P.
