Hi Julianne,

I wouldn't think she would go into heat this early but I say to always err on the side of caution. You can do this by keeping one or the other kenneled in a separate area of your home (example: one outdoors, one indoors) and then you can switch them back and forth so nobody is locked up all the time.

You may want to discuss with your vet about getting her spayed NOW, early spaying and neutering is becoming very common and many shelters now spay and neuter animals at very young ages with no bad consequences.

Perhaps you have a friend or relative that can take in either one of them until you can get your girl spayed.
