Can dogs sense when there is a baby on the way?

I have a 3 year old Jack Russell and I am also expecting a baby in a 2 weeks. I am no longer working and am at home full time. All my dog wants to do is lay in my lap with her head on my belly and sleep. I don't know if she is like that because she is used to sleeping all day from when I was working full time or if she senses something. Thanks, Denise
